Ellie shoja

Ellie Shoja is an award-winning Writer, Film and Television Producer, and Podcast Host. She lived in Iran, Turkey, and Germany before moving to the United States in 1996, where she studied Aerospace Engineering and Fine Arts at the University of California, Irvine.

In addition to her film and TV projects, Ellie co-hosts the Web Series MD Podcast and is the force behind the 20/20 Meditate for Peace Movement. Ellie is fluent in English, German, and Farsi. She often draws upon her experiences growing up in a refugee camp and outrunning her international with artist father as inspiration for her stories. Her first novel comes out this spring.
